Your email, and what we do with it.
Qube is not open yet. This page covers the waitlist: the email address you leave with us, the invite link we give you, and the little the page itself keeps in your browser.
- We keep your email address so we can hold your place and tell you when Qube opens. That is all we use it for.
- We never sell it, never share it for advertising, and never add you to anything you did not ask for.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. Write to us and we will delete everything we hold about you.
Who we are
Qube is part of nuQleus, and is run by the nuQleus team ("we", "us"). We decide how your information is used and are responsible for it. For anything on this page, reply to any email we send you, or reach the nuQleus team through nuqleus.ai.
What we keep
When you join the waitlist we keep:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | To hold your place, send your confirm link and invite link, tell you when priority access unlocks and when Qube opens. |
| Your invite code | The six characters in your invite link, so people who join with it are counted for you. |
| Who invited you | If you arrived through someone's invite link, their invite code, so your sign-up counts toward their five once you confirm. |
| Dates and times | When you joined, confirmed, unlocked priority access or unsubscribed, and when we emailed you and which email it was, so we do not email you more than once a minute or three times a day. |
| A scrambled form of your IP address | A one-way scrambled version, not the address itself, used to slow down bulk sign-ups from one place. We delete it a day after you join. |
We do not ask for your name, company, phone number or anything else, and we do not buy information about you from anyone.
What stays in your browser
The page uses your browser's own storage, not cookies, for two things: your place in line, invite link and the email address you signed up with, so the page can show them when you come back; and an invite code you arrived with, so it counts when you sign up. Nothing in it is sent anywhere else. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
We do not use analytics or advertising tools on this page, and the typeface is served from our own site.
Why we are allowed to
We use your email address because you asked us to: you entered it and confirmed it. You can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing or writing to us; it does not affect anything we did before. We keep the scrambled IP address and the email log because we have a legitimate interest in stopping the form being misused, including to flood someone else's inbox.
We handle your information under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR rights below apply to you too.
Who helps us run it
A few companies process your information for us, only on our instructions and only to run the waitlist:
- Amazon Web Services hosts the page and runs the sign-up, stores the waitlist, and sends our emails (Amazon SES), in its Asia Pacific (Singapore) region.
This means your information is stored and processed outside the UAE, in Singapore. We rely on Amazon Web Services' data processing terms and the safeguards in them for that transfer.
How long we keep it
We keep your sign-up only as long as the waitlist and early access need it, and delete it when they end, or sooner if you ask. If you never confirm your email, we delete the sign-up after 30 days, with the emails we sent you. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you straight away and keep only what we need to make sure we do not email you again; ask us and we will delete that too.
What you can ask us
- to tell you what we hold about you and send you a copy
- to correct it
- to delete it
- to stop emailing you (or use the unsubscribe link in any email)
- to stop using it while a question about it is sorted out
To ask, reply to any email we send you, or reach the nuQleus team through nuqleus.ai, from the address you signed up with. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over encrypted connections. The waitlist is reachable only by the server that runs the sign-up and by the people on our team who need it. Confirm and unsubscribe links carry long random codes that cannot be guessed, and the page never shows your email address or invite link to anyone who types it in.
Children
Qube is a tool for people who plan events for work. The waitlist is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly keep their information. If you think we have some, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
